So many things are not mutually exclusive. I don't like the word "broken", but you can be broken and be blessed. You can be down and out and be happy. You can be without funds, absolutely impoverished and your heart full.

All of you are phenomenal with your responses to my emails via text, social media, or just hitting reply. One of the replies was so grounding, like I know we are not alone. Thank you for sharing so deeply and personally with me. I know I'm not just talking to the universe. I'm talking to real people dealing with real s*** in a real world.

I'm sorry for your losses and I'm so happy to celebrate your triumphs. When an author blessed me with the forward to my book and then shared this particular quote in her email, it was like "Oh my God that's my email for next week."

The full quote is:

We are healing. It is hard and we are blessed.

-Farai Chideya

What does that mean to you?

I'm a big fan of talk therapy, other therapies too. I recently found a phenomenal therapist and am enjoying exploring all of the trauma that I've lived through, transmute and transform. That might sound a bit odd, but I really like the work of healing and growing but I digress.

So I read the quote, and it was a mind-blowing combustible moment of 'YES! I am healing and I am blessed'. I really didn't want to own the hard part though. Does that resonate with you?

I am healing and I am blessed.

I get to transmute and transform some heinous s*** and then from my healing, I support the healing of others. We are healing each other together. What a glorious way to look at the challenges in life.

Do you need help seeing this? Let's talk! Together we can find blessings you never knew were coming your way.
