Amanda Colon, MSW Intern was born in Miami, Florida. She moved to Orlando to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology in May of 2017 at the University of Central Florida. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work, with the goal of entering the field of School Social Work after graduation. In her free time, Amanda enjoys seeing movies, spending time with her friends, and reading.
Sasha Morales, MSW Intern was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida with her parents at 10 years old. She is currently in the Master’s of Social Work program at the University of Central Florida and is completing her clinical internship with Hispanic Family Counseling, Inc. Sasha obtained her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2015 and pursued a career in the child welfare field. Sasha currently works for Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services as a Dependency Case Manager. Her areas of interests include child welfare, working with the family system as a whole, and working with at-risk populations, specifically at-risk youth. In her spare time, Sasha enjoys spending time with her fiancé and step-son and also working on her photography. Sasha speaks fluent English and some Spanish.
Vanessa Ruisanchez, MHC Intern she was born in Valencia, Venezuela, and came to United States when she was 19 years old. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Science from the University of Central Florida in 2015 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University. Her goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and is passionate about working with the Hispanic population. Vanessa also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
