Diana Tafur, MHC Intern graduated from Rollins College with her Bachelor’s in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and currently working on learning Japanese. Diana enjoys spending time with loved ones, her cats, watching anime, reading manga, and drawing.
Jacquelyn Cockriel, MSW Intern is currently a student at the University of Central Florida working towards her Master’s in Social Work. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2016 with her Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Computer Science with a certificate in Behavioral Pathology and Victim Advocacy. She has worked as a Guardian Advocate for the Mental Health Association of Central Florida and is currently working as a Victim Advocate at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. She has extensive training in suicide prevention from various agencies. She is originally from Minnesota but moved to Florida after high school to go to the University of Central Florida. In her spare time, she likes to do photography, go kayaking, and read as much as she can.
Nayely Padilla, MSW Intern received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and is currently attending the University of Central Florida to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work. Nayely was born in Santa Ana, California but was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been in Orlando Florida since August 2014 and has continued working in the social services field. Nayely enjoys working with children and hopes to work in the school system upon graduation. In her free time, Nayely enjoys volunteering, reading and spending time with her family.

Ligia Mejia, BSW Intern is currently a student at the University of Central Florida working towards her Bachelor’s in Social Work. She served in the Marine Corps and is a 2-time post 9/11 veteran. After her bachelor’s degree, she plans to pursue her Master’s in Social Work and to focus her work on military families and veterans in the Central Florida area. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society (Nu Pi Chapter) at UCF, and is in the Golden Key International Honour Society. Her passions include volunteering in her church's media team, outreach/feeding the homeless community in Downtown Orlando and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
Winza Diuedonne, MSW Intern was born to two Haitian parents. She was born in Orlando, FL and was raised in the small town of Immokalee. Winza graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a Minor in Spanish and a certificate in children services from the University of Central Florida in 2018. She is currently in the Master of Social Work program at the University of Central Florida. She has experience working with children and families. Winza likes traveling, watching Netflix and reading. She would like to eventually move to Europe and practice overseas.
Milca Journet, BSW Intern was born in Puerto Rico and came to the United States in 2012. She graduated with her Associates Degree from Seminole State College in Florida. She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida working towards her Bachelor’s in Social Work. After her bachelor’s she plans to pursue her Master’s in Social Work. She currently works at Seminole State College of Florida as a Student Service Specialist where she helps students with their academic careers. She has done Volunteer work at agencies like Dress for Success, Goodwill Job Connection Center, Coalition for the Homeless, and Jewish Family Services. Her passions include volunteering, reading, spending time in nature and with her family.
Lorieann Heredia, Counseling Psychology Intern was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has been living in Florida since January of 2019. Lorieann is currently a student intern of Counseling Psychology at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and has also studied Christian Counseling. She has previously worked as a Mental Health Coordinator for a Health Insurance Company in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Lorieann’s experience includes working with Puerto Rican preschoolers, school-age children, and adolescents.

Leah Saenz, HSA Intern is a senior at the University of Central Florida currently working towards her Health Services Administration degree with a minor in Women's Studies. She has an Associate of Arts degree, HIV prevention certifications, and is CPR trained. She was born in Melbourne, Florida and has lived here her whole life! Leah loves health services administration because she loves helping people and making a difference in someone else's life. Leah participates in weekly bible studies and loves going to Disney with her friends and family. Her long-term goals include becoming a health care recruiter and working in human resources for other diverse healthcare organizations!
Sandra Aponte, MHC Intern is a graduate student at the University of Central Florida pursuing the Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Previously, she worked at the UCF Career Center as a Career Counselor where she specialized in the first-year student population. She was actively involved with the Center for almost 2 years. Sandra is passionate about building career and college readiness with at-risk students and helping them succeed academically and in the workplace. She has previous experience facilitating career development groups at the Orange County Youth Shelter and Timber Creek High School. Sandra was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and moved to the United States when she was 12 years old. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Jennifer Brandt, MSW Intern was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and came to the United States when she was 15 years old. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree through the program for Social Work at the University of Central Florida, with plans to graduate in August of 2019. She is passionate about working with the Hispanic population, especially immigrants. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, cooking, and camping.
