Guatemala is the leading exporter of cardamom, the fifth of sugar, the seventh of coffee worldwide, and the first supplier of coffee to Starbucks. 

San Salvador is the oldest capital city in Central America (1524).

​Ecuador's name comes from the equatorial line that delimits the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. It crosses the country from east to west passing near Quito. The capital of Ecuador is situated in latitude 0-0’-0’,’ which is considered the middle of the world. 

​​Cuba produces the best cigars in the world. The most famous brands are Montecristo, Partagas, Hoyo de Monterrey, and Upmann.

​The sun rises and sets in Costa Rica at the same time every day 365 days a year, due to its close proximity to the equator.
